The Logan County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Deputy. Our Office is looking for a proactive and dedicated individual. This position is responsible for performing uniformed patrol duties and enforcing all federal, state, and local laws. Logan County has a population of 2700 and 1,073 square miles. Logan County has Kansas Highway K-25, US Highways 40 & 83, and a small section of interstate 70.   

Minimum qualifications:

• No Felony or disqualifying convictions
• No Brady/Giglio issues
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess at least a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license

Work Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts with every other weekend off

Salary:

• Non-certified $22.00/ hour
• Certified Officer $24.00/ hour
