DEATH BENEFIT
Each Regular KSA member is provided a $5,000 in line of duty death benefit and $2,000 off duty death benefit for active law enforcement, $500 for retired members payable to a designated beneficiary on the death of the member.

LEGISLATION
KSA supports legislation that is beneficial for the community safety and security.

SCHOLARSHIPS
KSA financially supports scholarships for high school graduates to attend Kansas colleges or universities of their choice.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
KSA supports training sessions throughout the year in which law enforcement officers become familiar with new laws and techniques to enhance their effectiveness in their duties.We also provide two 40 basic corrections classes a year at no cost to the student or county.
