Deputy (Marshall County Sheriff's Office)

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is looking to hire a full time Deputy for patrol. The shifts are 12 hours shifts. The duties include but not limited to, patrol all of Marshall County, enforce State, Federal laws and county resolutions, investigate crimes, serve civil process and promote good public relations.

Marshall County has great benefits, BlueCross/Blue Shield health insurance, KEPRS State retirement, vacation and sick time. All uniforms and equipment are supplied including a take home vehicle. Kansas Law Enforcement Training certification is preferred but not mandatory. Being able to write complete, accurate and concise reports is a must.

Applicants must be 21 years of age with no felony convictions, pass a background investigation, drug test, psychological test and written exam. College degree or military experience is preferred but not mandatory.
