The Ellsworth County Sheriff's Office is looking for a highly motivated individual for a Deputy Sheriff position. We will train the right person, but a certified law enforcement officer is preferred.  Ellsworth County has a strong benefit package that includes vacation, health insurance, sick leave and competitive wages. Starting pay is $18.12 an hour but could be higher based on your qualifications and certifications.  All uniforms and equipment are provided.

Applicants are required to be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Kansas driver's license, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have no prior felony or disqualifying convictions.
