The City of Russell is seeking a full-time Police Officer. This position performs a variety of duties in the enforcement of laws and prevention of crimes while supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States of America and the State of Kansas. The employee will control traffic flow and enforce state and local traffic regulations, perform investigative activities and a variety of technical and administrative tasks in support of the Police Department.
High School diploma or G.E.D is required. This position requires certification from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center and 40 hours of continuing education annually.
